South West & South Wales Area

Post by EasyRider »

Hello all,

I was just thinking if there are any members who would like to meet up for a coffee and a ride out.
There are some great roads around the Brecon area to ride.
But if anyone else has a thought on where and when, post it on here.
I was thinking of meeting up in mid May at Abber Bus Station.

Edit.

This is the meeting point.

Oasis Snack Bar, Bus Station, Monmouth Rd, Abergavenny NP7 5HF

I will be there at 9.30am on the 6th May and will be leaving at 10.30am.

I'm in the Picos mid may but if your plans change to early May then I'd be keen on meeting up somewhere around the Brecons.

Abervagenny is 250 miles away from home, would need two nights stay somewhere to make a day ride out.

Or, how about meeting up halfway somewhere. Morrisons at Ilkeston would work, then have a circular ride out.

Anymore thoughts on a meet up around the Brecons?

As above, I would consider it, I'm sure if available, Markus would be interested too.

Pick a date and I'll look at getting some accomodation booked. Perhaps this could become one of many UK regional meets.

Or, how about a meet halfway between Stratford-upon-Avon and Ingleby Barwick. Rother Valley Country Park would work, 98 miles each.

Whatever best suits who is organising the event. For anyone requiring accomodation, it is likely to be less expensive midweek.

I understand that, just trying to work out whats best. And see who is up for this.

If mid-week how about May 7th , 8th or 9th
If weekend, how about May 11th or 12th

I will leave it till the end of the month, to give other a say as to what date is best for them and everyone.
It would be nice to get a 6+ size group of us together.

I'd need three consecutive dry days, unless we meet up halfway just for one day.
