A full day out from 9am to 7pm, covering 200 miles.

Arranged to meet Phil at Bluith Wells, he led us a fantastic route back to Abergavenny.

6am, a beautiful morning, not a cloud in the sky and "wall to wall" sunshine forecast all day.

Out of a Readers Digest book, "The most amazing scenic journeys in Britain".

Going to do the red section of this route first today.

I'd need three consecutive dry days.

Not a drop of rain in any day, result.

“Friends Over Forecasts” - I’d rather ride with friends in the rain, than on my own in the sunshine.

That said, I don’t pay much attention to the forecast. Good job really or I might have missed out on a superb group ride.
