Wife was driving my little ford fusion that i use around town.
She rang me and said the car made a loud bang and grinding sound.
Found out the drivers side front coil spring snapped.
Wife said she was going over a speed bump in the carpark when it happend.
AA came out and got the car safe to drive the 1 miles home. He followed
2 new KYB front coil springs now bought, so i know what i will be doing next week.
Wife thought i would be upset with her, but hay these things happen.
She is sleeping with the GSD's tonight

At least its not as bad as your wife ringing to tell you she has just kerbed the new cars wheel 6 weeks after having it

New wheel and a refurb on the trashed wheel later to get it back to looking like new

So today i got around to changing the snapped spring on the front of my Fusion.
I took it all apart changed the spring and fitted the strut back on the car.
Then i saw it. When the spring snapped, it pushed inwards and flattend the metal brake pipe and cracked the arch liner.
Went to ford to buy a new pipe only to be told ford dont sell them. So i had to buy some pipe and make my own.
Anyway its all fixed now and tested.
