Well i knew it would happen, I've been found out.
I keep a record of what i spend on any bike i have using MS Excal.
When i was out getting the Valadero MOT done, she needed to use my laptop.
I came home all happy that my Valadero had passed.
I walked in and she was just sitting there with my laptop open. (i left Excal open)
She said how long have you had the RT for. 4 months i replyed.
She looked again at my laptop and said, So you have spent £xxxx on it on top of buying it.
I looked at her and said, "well i had to make sure it was safe for you my darling".
The look and reply i got was not a good one. no sweet talking out of this one i thought.
I have now been Banned from eBay and Aliexpress and told not to buy anything else for the RT this year.
I did not say this out loud, but thought it to myself " its a good job i've got everything then".

My wife is a Financial Planner and I respect her advice when it comes to money. She tells me that since I'm retired I should no longer be accumulating wealth and I need to spend my income. Got any good links for E-bay or AliExpress?

My wonderful wife looks upon any expenditure for the bike as a joint interest, and as her preferred mode of holiday transport should be treated to the best.

My wife loves our bike and likes nothing better than riding the Dales or Lakes and having a good pub lunch, at my expense, of course. But then she did pay half towards the bike

My partner says, I am spending her inheritance on my bike and car. She watches a great many murder/medical programmes, should I be afraid?
