central locking

Post by EasyRider »

Do you use the key to lock your panniers or just use the central locking. With me, if i'm staying near the bike i just use the central locking. But if leaving the bike out of sight i use the key to lock them as well and set the alarm.
What i like and it took me a couple of months to find out, is you dont need to keep turning the bike on to work the central locking. As long as the key fob is near the bike the button on the right side switchgear works to lock/unlock the central locking.

I just use the central locking

If they want it they are going to get it regardless of what you do

There is a small button on the right had bar for central locking, I think it's next to the MODE button ;)

Personally, I always use the central locking, if they are breaking into the bike and the CL is not stopping them, then I don't think anything else will, it's just a screwdriver job anyway

My central locking button is not working, it was up until a few days ago, I only have the bike 2 weeks, it's a 2024, anyone any ideas? Have I done something stupid in settings? works with key and key fob. Many thanks
