A number of other posts have covered the various bugs present in software release 014_013_030 including Comfort Turn Indicator option resetting itself to off and unpredictable trip computer resets etc.
The release promised by BMW mid last year has now become available as of mid March and has the designation 014_015_020
I had it installed yesterday and the bugs are gone. Don't know if there have been stability improvements in the Nav wifi connection etc but will report back once I have had a decent ride - probably tomorrow.

Re: R1250RT NEW Software Released 014_015_020
I have done about 1200 Km since the update and can report...
1) All the bugs I was experiencing have been eliminated
2) WiFi Stability appears to be better and I get a Map Mode connection quicker and more consistently. 100% so far.
3) Fuel economy seems to be noticeable better. I was used to a figure around 4.3 - 4.5 Litres/100Km but have been getting around 4.1 - 4.2 Litres/100Km on each of my trips which have covered the same roads under same riding conditions. Previously I had never seen a full tank range above 530Km but now it appears around 560Km. Don't know if this is a good or bad thing as leaner mixtures not always engine friendly. Suspect this may be another Euro emissions adjustment?
