As per the title. While my 2006 RT is off the road awaiting a bevel box rebuild I've been looking at a few little tasks. One of which is wobbly panniers. They slot on and latch down fine but they wobble about a fair bit.
Would it be a bad thing to wrap the posts in a bit of loom tape to take up some clearance or are they all like that?

Do you have a photo of your bike without the panniers fitted.
There might be a plastic part missing for where the pannier fits onto the rear peg hanger.

The footpeg block is in place. All looks ok. But they do dance around a little bit.

ok there in place. You could try wrapping some fabric tape (like they use on wiring looms) around the plastic blocks to see if it helps.
