Hi all.
R1200RT LC, 2015.
Fitting Heed Engine Bars this weekend. Fitting instructions vague. No torque settings. Do I have to remove spot lights? Any hints tips appreciated!
Cheers

Depends where the spot lights are.As for torque settings(I never got them either but dare say there out there somewhere) I just did them up with a dap of medium loctite, didn't hang off the ratchet like a gorilla

I had the very able assistance of a fully qualified engineer when I built a kit car many years ago, he only knew two torque settings which he applied to everything -
T or FT.

If they are the factory fitted spot lights with the factory brackets then yes you have to remove them

Thanks Stu, yes they are factory fitted so off they come. Can't get my hand to the torx screw on right hand side. I'm guessing the side panel has to come off also?
Cheers, Rob.
