Pastures new?

Post by lancashirert »

I’ve really enjoyed the RT, been a great bike and the boxer is fantastic, however in a change of circumstances, I’m now considering selling it and finding something narrower.

Thinking of staying with the boxer and looking at an R or an RS for the luggage option, albeit smaller luggage.

Anyone gone from the RT to either, or just had either before?

As no doubt I’ll see little back for my RT, I shall probably take the crash bars off and see who wants them here before trying my hand at eBay. Still have those spots kicking about too I think. Moved house, so it’s a wonder I can find anything.

Cheers all, be interested to hear people’s thoughts about the other options and switching.

Any particular foibles or stuff to watch for really? I’m guessing really it’s similar to, lighter and thinner.

They're smaller than the RT panniers, still plenty of room for a week or two away and the top box holds 1 full face helmet.
