BMW INSURANCE

Looks like rip off time at BMW Insurance. Last year I insured my K1600GTL E for £287.00.  2 weeks ago I transferred this policy which has 4 weeks to run to my 2014 1200RT LE. I valued it at £3000 less than the K.  I was charged £30 transfer fee discounted by £9.50 for the reduced price of the RT. for the month left.  Just got my renewal today from 1 Sep.  £329.00.  RIP OFF. I did notice Devitt had changed from Allianz to Equity Red Star

I still use Carol Nash. I have a 2013 RT and pay £150 FC. I did shop around but it was the best price I could get, been with them for 4 yrs now.

I did enquire with BMW to show a bit of loyalty to the marque and I think the quote was something around £320 !!

Just had a quote from Carole Nash.  Same cover as BMW but without £2000 of kit cover. Difference is £50.00 so I will ponder on and try and get a bit off BMW.
