Syncing used abs unit 07 RT
Hello. I have a 07 RT and the abs pump is toast. The fault code as per my mechanic is canbus timeout failure to connect. Is it possible to buy a used abs pump and fit in my bike? My mechanic said it’s not possible as each abs unitis made for a specific bike. The local bmw dealer has also refused to make this sync. Anyone who has done this before, please let me know what shoud I do next. The cost of a new pump is not worth it to me. At that point I’ll just sell the bike for parts. Thanks.

You can fit a used ABS unit. Make sure it works first. Fit and bleed using a GS 911.
