Re: Top Box paint...
I didn't find the stock seat that bad but still got the comfort seat, glad I did.
Toured Scotland last year a never got a numb bum even on the longest days.. I do have some bar risers so don't know if that makes a difference to sitting/posture ?

Re: Nav V
Do you think bmw will eventually give the RT/nav IV the same functions they gave on the GSWC
ie. much more info about the bike on the nav iv screen
Surely it only needs a update for it to work on the RT .?

Re: Nav V
That's a shame, could've saved £135
I've read some reports of the nav V loosing satalite fix occasionally but nothing much else?
I'm wondering how many more functions work via the 14 controller and nav V that I won't get with my current nav IV

Nav V
I've noticed on my dealers/bmw web site that you can buy the nav V with European maps for £610 or with no mapping for £475.. Does that mean if you already have say, a zumo 550/660 with garmin express you could buy the cheap nav V option then put your existing maps on it with garm...

VALUE
as I've mentioned I was due to collect/part ex my 2012RT the same week as the recall, the only contact I've had is texts from my dealer... I've heard nothing from bmw themselves. There now seems to be a lot of chatter on various forums about a glut of slightly used RTWC bikes soo...

Re: OEM LED LIGHTS
I believe you have the option of angel eyes only or angel eyes plus low beam? I would think the bike would be much more visible using the combination...
It would certainly be much much cheaper than getting bmw spots fitted

Re: Hi there peeps...
Only had chance to take a couple of pics of my RT It has the Akrapovic Can (which sounds gorgeous), and i've since fitted a Crud Catcher to the front of the engine (essential). Next will be the LED spots (which i took off my GSA). WHERE WILL YOU MOUNT YOUR LED SPOTS.? http://i209.photobuc...
