Re: Default PIN for iPhone pairing

Hello, I'm trying to pair my R1200 RT with my iPhone so I can listen to music from the iPhone through the BMW speakers. The bike system recognizes my iphone (my phone name comes up on the display) but my iPhone is asking for a PIN to connect. I've tried "0000" and "9999" to no a...

Hope this helps.

Re: Top Box Rack - 2012 Twin Cam RT

I have the Wunderlich rack on my top box. . Bout 35 pounds on the rack most of the time. I am wondering about this.... Per Wunderlich documentation, you are only alloowed to put 4 pounds on the rack, which makes this only useful for a pair of gloves..... Frank Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

Re: R rear brake pads

Has anyone had to replace the original rear pads on a 14/15 R1200RT yet?  I was checking my own after 2800 miles and their didn't seem to be that much meat left on them. Plus the disc is always too hot to pinch after a normal ride and it isn't binding at all Go to a Dealer and get this war...

Re: Touratech or Wunderlich

Opinions on cylinder head protection? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I just installed MachineHeads X-Heads. pretty easy install, they look nice and do not weigh a ton. I only have them as I am always afraid someone knocks my bike over in a parking lot - which did happen to me once.... I think c...

Yeah, but who has the time to open the box and check that when he is going 200km/h :)

Re: Pannier bags

In Germany, there is a small company that is, in BMW rider circles widely known for their high quality bags. I had a set (originally bought for the f800gs, then used on the R1200GS) that i used for 4 years and rides in all over Europe, USA, Marokko. They were very well build, easy to carry, sturdy, ...

What kind of adjustment can you make to the handlebar?

I just got the first 1000miles on my new 2015LC. One of the things I normally do on a new bike is adjust the angle/tilt/distance of the handlebar to my liking. I notice my arms are not quiet at the right angle, and they tire more easily than I like. So I am looking at the steering setup and come awa...

Re: Bluetooth

I am using a Sena 20S with my 2015er LC, and it works well in connecting to the RT Audio System, as long as the Nav V is not in the cradle. As soon as the Nav is there, you get a loud hissing Sound even when you Switch the Input to Aux, something where nothing is connected to. But even without the N...

BT audio has a hissing background as soon as NAV V is in the cradle...

Is anyone else experiencing the following: -> audio via the RT using an USB Stick Audio sounds fine over speakers and Bluetooth. -> Insert Nav V into cradle Audio still sounds fine over the speakers. Over bluetooth, using a Sena 20S, i get, even on the unconnected AUX channel, a high/hissing noise. ...

Re: Tyres - How long do they last?

How do you find the GS compared to the RT? As i must switched from a 2012er GS to the RT, now having 700km behind me on the RT in the last few days, i feel like i can give you my 2c. It starts of course with the non-wethead vs wethead difference. I rode the GS-LC for a while as well, and found that...
