Re: how many ride all year?
Winter weekends can be better than summer days as Levisp said. Less traffic on the roads. Am not too bothered about washing the bike with every trip out in the winter. With age, i seem to wash my car and bike a lot less. My RE Himalayan hasn't been washed in 2 years. A bit of dirt and dust seems to ...

Re: Fuel prices
£1.57 for premium and £1.44 for standard E10. Last week standard E10 was £1.34 and £1.46 for premium. So a massive jump since the Ukraine problem started. I think that is only the start of the pump price increases.

New tyre warning
Had to replace my new rear tyre as i found a slit in the sidewall. The company gave a no quibble replacement by next day delivery and collection. I balanced and fitted the tyre. As yesterday was dry but cold i thought a ride out would be nice. Well pulling out my road to turn right the rear tyre sli...

how many ride all year?
How many of you ride your RT all year round. Personally ive always ridden bikes right through the year. The only times i don't ride is when it's Snowing/icy or chucking it down. The cold doesn't bother me. Am lucky as i took early retirement 9 years ago at the tender age of 50 so i can get out more....

Re: New seat for 2021 RT
After a rest from BMW bikes when my 2007 RT was stolen i rode many different makes. I had an old Honda 550k, That had a really thick seat which was very comfortable. The 2000 gold wing was like an armchair. Newer bikes seem to be designed with thin flat seats which gave me bum burn within an hour. T...

Re: Bike trailer
Got a reply from Mono-Trail. "Looking at your request, it appears that you just require a towing bracket!. Unfortunately due to insurance and product liability issues and plus the R&D costs involved with one off builds I am not looking at getting involved with just making brackets. Good luc...

Re: Bike trailer
Good find David. I've been scanning the web all day I've found 2 companies that import very lightweight trailer tents for motorbikes but no hitch suppliers. I subjected the UK laws hadn't changed since my last trailer. I've emailed them regarding a hitch. Their trailers are a bit small for what i wa...

Bike trailer
Not sure if this is the correct section to post this, so, please replace if needed. Years ago i used to tow a small two wheeled trailer. I made it from a car roof box. Like the ones, you can buy from Halfords. I would like to do this again so i need some information on companies that make tow bars f...
