Packtalk Bold Duo intercom set

https://i.postimg.cc/xTGR6vpb/2025-04-28-09-29-55.jpg I've just bought a new version which is the same as some of my friends intercoms, so this one is no longer needed. One of the units has been playing up lately, so I want to be transparent and say there are two sets of everything, including unuse...

Phone mount for 2021+ models

I'm considering fitting a phone mount for my R1250 2022 RT and would be interested what people are using and how you have found it?

I thought something like this may be useful, anyone used this?

Re: Sat nave being an arse!

I'm still struggling then, I've done about 500 miles this year so far, and the sat nav has played up on every outing, so whatever they have done it's messed mine up. I could do with having a look at an alternative before I do a big trip just to cover me, I can't be bothered being stranded in the mid...

Re: Michelin Road 6GT 180/55/17

I fancy some of these tyres, my existing 5GTs have been good, and I've got about 2mm on the front and 3mm on the back at 6500 miles, so I'll be swapping them in a couple of months before I do a Europe trip as it's going to be around the 3,000+ mile ish mark, and there is no way they will be fit for ...

Sat nave being an arse!

My 2022 RT has been fine using the inbuilt sat nave 99% of the time, even though it is a bit inconvenient, it disconnects when stopped for fuel or coffee and has to reconnect - but I can live with that. Recently after being laid up for winter though it took a while to connect up, the maps didn't wan...

Re: 1250 RT 2024 year - why always WiFi access with Map ?

I think the issue is on the BMW side, not the iPhone side.

The BMW side does not offer auto connect, the iPhone does

BMW have no plans to change this, I asked, something to do with licencing I think, but don't quote me on that

Sorry buddy

Let he who has no sin and all that.............. we have all been there in one form or another, I'm glad it's just your pride that hurt and both you and the bike are relatively unscathed.

Re: I've returned to the fold with a new RT

Looking good, congratulations, I'm pretty sure the top box is accessed by lifting the carpet in it and removing a couple of hand screws and the light cable. It's a while since I've done it, so if anyone else can elaborate please do

Sound like a poor deal for KTM and the staff, but then, going out of business is not exactly great either

Re: Internal / Dust Cover

Something specific loks better, but a large quilt cover or dust sheet does the job well, and are easy to pick up for under a tenner :P
