Won't argue with that.Knowhereman wrote: ↑Mon Mar 24, 2025 7:50 pm The HEX won't do it. I thought the same You need the factory software. The programming ends up disabling a heap of police functionality.
It sounds like your dealer is being a dick.
THank you!

Re: Horn for 2014 RTP
I saw this post, and was over the moon as dealership is charging me 250 to program it.
I plugged it in and... nothing.
I I did use an amazon horn, but not sure if that would make difference (different resistance? maybe?)
PS mine is a 2020

Works a treat and scares the hell out of everyone my dealership is asking for $250 USD to program it.... I wonde if the hex 911 will allow me to progam that myself. Seems a bit steep to just plu...

Re: Addiction problem
I will absolutely do that thank you. I was able to speak with the dealership that did the service. They said they could not turn over any documents, as it had the info of the pd, but he was able to share verbally. They had a contract for bi yearly service. Given the highest mileage one is 19k miles,...

Re: Converting an RTP for 2up
Has anyone been able to reprogram for the horn?
Called the dealership here, and they are asking for $300 to do it....
In the meantime, I put an amazon horn, and have a button with double sided tape, in a very classy way.

Addiction problem
Hi, my name is Camilo, and I'm an addict. I came across the opportunity to buy some r1250rt-p with low miles. 2020's highest one with 18k miles, lowest 9k miles. Contacted the dealership, and they had a contract to do bi yearly maintenance. I have been finding excuses to dive anywhere, just to take ...
