I believe that the rear mudguard has an extension which slides up or down to stop the crud from flying up on the topbox or passenger.
I did have a BMW that had this extension but some people remove them.

Hi,the above bolt that holds the rod on top of the swing arm/ drive shaft tunnel (sorry for my ignorance obviously I love riding my bike but don’t know what makes it work ! :lol: )

Hi,new here,second RT and gone back to the air cooled,I believe hexhead ? Not a new topic I know but wondered if my old girl is included in the shaft recall ?
It’s a 2008 with only 13000 miles.
