Re: OEM or different screen for R1250RT?

I've tried various screens on my LC RT …. my absolute fave has been the Puig one I have on now. In the low position it's better than the OEM standard screen in high :)

Re: Getting the lock out of the top case ....

6 months I tried off and on Pete, with the cat "helping" by sitting in the box.....

Then one day I retried and did 3 in one go one after the other!! :)

Getting the lock out of the top case ....

Ensure the key is in the lock, in the locked position I think, and "wiggle" it to help locate the release hole

Bonding with the new toy

Been using the K1 quite a bit recently …. and I love it. Despite its 30 years of age I find it surprisingly modern riding, comfy, good brakes, good handling with a surprising turn of speed. I find the 16 v engine needs more revs than the old 8 valve motor to get it in the flow but once she does it's...

Re: 2019 Highlands Tour

Glad it went well and the weather was kind to you. We tried to do a similar trip last year and were hit with horrendous weather that caused us to abandon the trip, plus the midges meant we couldn’t stop without clouds of them descending on us and driving us mad. Obviously we were unlucky but it was...
