Happy Days mate. I’m a virgin too.  Had mine a couple of months now.  1500 miles and loving it.  Took me a little to get used to the linked brakes.  But it’s coming lol.

I bought my ‘11 rt in 2014 with low miles. I came from inline 4s and inline twins so it took me a bit of time to be completely comfortable on the rt. I honestly thought that I’d be trading it in for something I was more used to. Until I took it on a trip up the California coast from San Diego to Monterey. I was hooked. Most comfortable, nimble (splitting/filtering) Los Angeles traffic like a champ, fuel economy, premium package accoutrements etc. Love this bike and I don’t want to ride a ‘14-‘19 rt because I know I will have to have one. Congrats on getting an rt and welcome to the forum!

Leave it! That's if it's stuck in the open position?
