Map Updates: 2020.30 available for BMW Navigators

Just started update of the Navigator VI, 2020.30 maps. :-)

No problem at all.

Hi mate I have a 2014 RT with a navigator 6.
Can you tell me if I can get more information on the screen like you can when the sat nav is on other models like the GS.
I was told this is not the case on an RT because it is a touring bike

The 2014 doesn't have the my motorcycle information, that initially wasn't an option until later models and initially ones that were factory fitted with the audio. Later models have the my motorcycle app, but its much later models

If you are running Basecamp on an Apple Mac do not update to 2020.30 until Garmin have fixed a "known issue".

I tried updating the maps on three of my Garmin Sat Navs without updating Garmin Express on my PC (it did prompt me). They all failed to complete towards the end of the process, so quite frustrating. After updating GE the map updates went ahead and completed correctly.

Just in case anyone else has experienced difficulties on their PCs
