Re: What did you do today?
Busy, busy day. It's only 3 pm and I'm knackered. 8:30 Dentist. Took over an hour to drive 9 miles there, traffic, A27 blocked, and then the train barrier was down for 20 minutes. 9:15 drove to Kia in Chichester to order a new car. That will take just under 3 months, as I have to wait for my current lease
to run out. I hate the Citreon so much that I wouldn't give one to my worst enemy. Won't be getting one again. 11:00 drove home, only to get stuck in traffic again. Temporary traffic lights are just to fill in a hole in the pavement. 11:45 at Boots to collect medication. One set of tablets was missing, so I sat for 25 minutes. Off to Asda for a few bits and bobs, 4 times to get my card to work. At home, only to find that we have no hot water. Now waiting for the boiler engineer to arrive.

Re: What did you do today?
Nice day, got a bloke in to decorate the hall/landing/stairs so I’m surplus to requirements… nothing else is shouting for my attention (my wife is out shopping) so it’s a good time to give the bike a major clean.
I’ve come to the conclusion that the RT is a pig to clean, so many nooks, crannies and difficult-to-get-at-bits that you can’t really do without stripping the whole thing down.
Whatever, several hours later it’s done and I’m sure my hands will heal, eventually!

Re: What did you do today?
Been there so many times with boiler issues over the years, luckily I can either fix the common problems myself now or my very good engineer will see me sorted. Cleaning a bike is like devil worship. If you don't wash the bike, it won't rust.

Re: What did you do today?
Yesterday my ford cmax came and we spent the day out in it giving it a good test.
Was very very happy at getting over 60MPG as well.
There was one down side that was sorted to my satisfaction by the dealer i brought it from.
In the ad for the car it said it had a "Power Tailgate" , but sadly it did not.
I rang the dealer to speak to the salesman but he was busy and i was told he will call me back.
I was asked in the mean time to send in a email with the screenshot of the ad for the car.
A short time later the salesman did call me back and said he had seen the email.
We had a chat and he asked me what they could do to put this right for me.
I did not want to return the car as it is spotless with just 2 small stone chips i could find on the front.
So i said to the salesman, If i could get the delivery cost back i would be happy.
He said leave it with me and he will go and talk to his boss.
About 15 mins later i get a call back from the salesman to tell me that i can have the £432 delivery refund.
Buying this car was done all online and by phone. And to be fair it went very well i think.
The salesman was very good and help me with anything i needed to know.
He called me and emailed me when he said he would and sent me all the info quickly and without a fuss.
The £432 refund has brought the little extras i was going to buy anyway, so it paid for them.
Just a set of 18" wheels left to buy. I have already brought the tyres for the 18" wheels so to stop me buying 19" wheels that i always fit to my cars.
I did let the wife drive the car and she also liked it. She has a Ford Focus and there nearly the same inside.
