My r1250 rt with 70000 km has a vibration issue. BMW have advised that they are going to check the woodruff keys!
Given they are on the end of the crankshaft it is one hell of a job.
Anyone with a similar experience?

Bit of an odd thing to check because of a vibration!
Never heard of this before
I'm assuming that the have checked the drive shaft too? As if that's on its way out that can cause vibration

Yes the cardan shaft was changed at 60,000 km. Agree it is an odd thing to be checking, especially has the engine has to be stripped to check it. Possible that the Service guy was blowing smoke up the proverbial !!
