To me they look like the same bike (which they are) however it may be the bodywork colour of your work bike gives it the illusion of being slimmer. The panniers on your own bike look enormous in comparison. Oddly enough even your crash protection on the work bike makes it look slimmer than you bike. It may be my eyes or the different colours causing the illusion or it maybe Specsavers for me :))

Cant see from the pics but has it got the Weather Protection kit fitted, which is Authorities kit. If so your boots will stay clean(er)

The work bike does have the weather protection kit on, as does mine and I still get shitty boots and trousers from road spray.
The front bars on the work bike extend out to the edge of the mirrors, so despite the panniers being slimmer, the bike is still the same width as one with normal panniers on!
Haven't done the speed test yet due to having 3rd degree burns in one of my hands, but I'm sure the effects of blues and two might make that one faster :-)

Wow the 3rd Degree burns must be on the right hand from the warp speed of the grey.  Surely the the work bike can't be faster than Herr Beemers fastest colour Calisto Grey.

I hope your injury gets better soon and no ill effects.

Am I right in thinking that reflective material at the rear must be red? If not then I shall be putting some black reflective material on the rear as well as that on the front. See conspicuity thread.
May the road ever be your friend, from leaving home till journey's end.

Although the reflective material may be black (in daylight),  what colour will is show (at night) when illuminated by following vehicles.

This photo shows black reflective material showing white when illuminated by a flash light.

No, my understanding of Pete1200's question was that he would like to put the same black reflective material on the rear of the bike.
