Remove Headlight Cluster R1200rt 2007

Post by svcole »

Hi This is my first post. I need to remove the headlight cluster and change the metal spring plate that holds in the headlight bulb. I cannot figure out how to remove the fairing "Nose". There must be some sequence I ma missing as I need access to the rear of the headlight to pry off the broken one. I have removed lower fairings and screen but can't see where to loosen the whole assembly. Any tip (Videos)?

This has been taken out of the Haynes Manual for 04 to 06 Models, should be the same for a 2007 Bike.

Left Click on the photo, then Expand to actual size makes it more legible,
(Top right-hand corner Box with arrow, next to X).

Are these two links any help,
