Aux plug

Got any questions about the BMW's R1200RT/R1250RT's onboard audio, Bluetooth or the Electrical system?

Aux plug

at the side of the passengers hip area there is blank plastic cap, presumably so you can fit an extra elec power out let.

Does anyone know of the part number or equivalent in other make to use this hole without drilling it bigger.

The Part No. 61347694306 (Plug-in socket),  cross-references with these other BMW Models,
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/part?id ... 1347694306,
therefore, the "Used - Auxiliary power socket 08/2006 on | ELE94306" from Motorworks should do the job,
https://www.motorworks.co.uk/vlive/Shop ... 0_35_IA_90.

What year is your RT.

The prices shown on Real OEM do not reflect the prices in UK.  Think you will get the complete plug including the waterproof cover for a bit over £20.00.  Depending on what model you have the wires are already there.  There are no aftermarket ones.  The hole is the correct size.

Yep, £23.30 from your local BMW Dealer or £10 Used from Motorworks plus P&P, (08/2006 on).
