Yep,  I  think I'd give that a miss to, ( hope the locals are OK )....... :(

Even at "Low Tide", it's not a good idea, these photos were taken some years ago before the Ford was closed to Vehicles.

My friend on the Bike decided to chance it & promptly fell off in the middle of the Ford.

Puts me in mind of misjudging the tide once on a trip back from Holy Island.


Comparing the two photographs just makes you aware of how much water is in the river.
