Yoke badge
Yoke badge
Does anyone know where I can buy a BMW badge for the top yoke on my 2009 RT? At present there is a plastic disc there. I notice that on later models the disc has been replaced by a badge. After-market is more than acceptable if the genuine part costs an arm and a leg lol

For a 2010 RT, RealOEM has thrown up a couple of Part No. for the Badges,Jethro66 wrote:I notice that on later models the disc has been replaced by a badge.

not sure which one is correct, best check with a BMW Dealer.
Putting the Part No. into the KFM site, http://www.kfm-motorraeder.de/cms/en/ge ... pare-parts is coming up with between £10 & £20, don't forget the O Ring.
Try the BMW Dealer, you may be pleasantly surprised, would also need to check the diameter of the hole in the Yoke.
This thread from BMWLT, http://www.bmwlt.com/forums/rt-series/6 ... undel.html suggests they may be different sizes.
Moto-bins do a 45mm self adhesive Badge for £4.20, https://www.motobins.co.uk/bmw-parts.ph ... ef=R1200RT, might do the job.

Re: Yoke badge
My new-to-me '06 RT (I picked it up a few days ago and have ridden it only the 25 miles home, so for about 30 minutes) also has the plastic plug. I bought these http://www.ebay.com/itm/272129418906?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT , will flatten the top of the plug and stick one on. Having the four allows me to make mistakes. The price was right if they are junk.
