No sound from Navigator V on R1200RT 2015

Got any questions about the BMW's R1200RT/R1250RT's onboard audio, Bluetooth or the Electrical system?

Hi there;
Do I have to perform any setup to get the sound / guidance from the Navigator V through the speakers?

Sometimes there's a glitch. Mute, then unmute the Nav5. That should make the sound work.

And also make sure the audio unit the Nav has BT disabled. If you can get the radio to play through the speakers so will the Nav

I had this problem on Sunday. I removed the Satnav from the mount and remounted it (I may have even got some spurious message about a car mount from the Nav). Everything working again.

Yes, and remember that the radio will have to be on and that the volume has to be up. If you don't want to listen to the radio - set the input selector to USB or something, but let the audio unit powered on and volume up.

And sometimes needed - on the GPS when mounted - mute the gps - then unmute again.
