Trolley Dolly

Post by Steve F »

By no means a new gizmo, but what a difference to manoeuvring the bike around the garage when required. Why I didn't get one earlier, heaven knows! Bought from Biketek for £80.

The ones I've got are Becker-Technik, the best made in Germany.

I too have been using a dolly (Constand) for several years now and find it an absolute joy to be able to manoeuvre my RT across the garage (shed). I can even use it on my block paved drive with care. The only problem I have encountered is that if you don't get it quite right when putting the bike on the dolly the toe extension  on the bikes centre stand can foul one of the wheels so I am on the lookout for a replacement heavy duty wheel.

Been using one of these for a couple of years now, ride in ,lift up and turn around within the space of my garage. Took the weight of my k1600 so the RT is a no problem at all.[attachimg=1]
