2015 LC R1200RT
2015 LC R1200RT
How many of you have more than one RT ??I've got a dilemma, im due to px my 2010 RT for a 2015 LC, but I'm struggling to let go of the old model, it's in mint cond so I'm now swaying to keep it and just buy the LC and keep it along side the old one.
Do I have mental health issues ??

No point keeping the old one
. A few rides on the LC and you'll never want to ride anything else. IMO

If you ride all year round and can afford to have both then I would. Keep the LC for Summer use and dry Winter rides and use the older bike when the weather is crappy and especially on salty roads. Just a thought.

Second bike= registration, insurance, maintenance and storage, ask me we have 5 and only one gets regularly ridden, wife doesn't want to part with her 3
As others have said once you ride the 15 you won't ride the older one again

Going to buck the trend here, I own a 2014 LC which I love, but luckily I have access to a 2010 RT which I don't own but ride regularly. Got to say I love the 2010 as well and would consider owning now. So If I could have both and it wasn't big money, I would have both. I am though considering purchasing another R80RT. the last one I owned I stuffed into a car, so now have a hankering for another 8)

R80RT I get but I'm less convinced by the 2010 RT. I tried the RT several times pre-LC. I always really wanted one but every time I rode it, I came away a bit disappointed. It always felt like a bike to respect, rather than to love. I know that a well-ridden one will keep up with almost anything but it never made me grin. Maybe it was because I was always coming from more powerful bikes. The LC changed my whole perspective though. It made me laugh, the way it's so agile - it's like a stealth bike and that's what sold me on it...

I'd buy the LC and trade the 2010 for something completely different for using in warm weather and shorter distances, Something like a 1200r or Bonneville or similar along those lines.
The GS 'is' the better bike :-)

R80RT. What didn't they have and still won't have. Brakes that stop you mowing into cars. And now they will feel like they hsve none at all.

Cheers for all the feedback.
I've decided I'm going to hang on to the 2010 for a while, before I decided on the 2015 I was toying with the idea of buying a new triumph bobber, soooo I might just px against one of those...
