Welcome, and let’s hope that you enjoy the bike and do more miles than it’s previous owner.
So when is this “old enough to know better” supposed to kick in?

Where can I find this manual, I don’t see an attachment.  For the life of me I can’t figure out how the system works.

Is this link to BMW Motorrad any help, http://www.bmw-motorrad.com/com/en/inde ... _main.html

Have a look in "Rider's Manuals for Original BMW Accessories", for your bike.

Maybe I didn't specify,  but I've got an LC, the manual is for a 2013 or prior.  Maybe some of the same methods,  but my main problem is getting the usb or audio jack to recognize my phone.  I don't think the earlier ones had the system wired the same way.

Go here:

http://www.bmw-motorrad.com/com/en/inde ... &notrack=1

Select "Rider's Manuals For Original BMW Accessories" to the left, and your bike model on the right.
