How not to do a track day
How not to do a track day
31.10.19 Donington circuit. Very cold day, cold tyres, first session out. I'm on my old fazer, my buddy is on the gixxer 2 bikes in front, watch what happens in front of him. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WmAsXxa5mQs BTW there was a chap out there wearing a polite, think bike vest, on an air cooled RT, by heck he was quick...

It's not what you ride, but how you ride it.Old-Git wrote:BTW there was a chap out there wearing a polite, think bike vest, on an air cooled RT, by heck he was quick.

Let's not turn this into one of those "progressive" riding threads. He crashed on a track day.
Re: How not to do a track day
He was a rather boastful fellow in the pits before the session. This was a novices group......Look how much lean he was trying to put on compared to all of the other bikes. On the first corner. On cold tyres.Jefla wrote: I’m new. What did the rider do wrong?
