Hi guys. I’m not new to motorcycling and currently own two other bikes but this is my first BMW. It is a 2019 R1250RT one owner clean bike with only 14.8K miles. The bike looks and runs great and I am a person who likes to do as much maintenance as I can myself. Needless to say it has proven to be quite a battle trying to find a repair manual. I am also intimidated by BMW’s conditions to download and am looking for other sources of information. I have done a search on this forum and am looking into them. Being a new member any additional information would be appreciated.
Thanks, Joe

Re: Service and Repair Manuals
Hi Randyjaco
Thanks for the info on finding the maintenance manuals. I was able to locate that info on a flash drive which I purchased from someone in Spain. I have had it about two weeks and while I have found a lot of useful information it seems to lack in some areas or I am out of touch with the way manuals are written on modern motorcycles. For example, I can’t find a wiring diagram or location of electrical relays if any exist on this bike. I have a Givi E55 Maxia 3 Topcase with brake and tail lights I would like to mount on my 2019 R1250RT and need more information on where to connect the wires. At this point I am thinking the best way is installing a Y or T adapter with wires for accessories (if one exists) between the tail light assembly power connector. Do you know where I can find one or any other thoughts on wire connections?

Connecting a top case is a major PITA. The pictures show what to connect to. Don't bother to try and find the proper male connector for it. It is unobtanium. Find an appropriate male and female after market connector and wire it in. Good luck
