I managed to pick up most second hand on here so the pain to my wallet was muted. Essential items marked * *Headlight protector *Cy...

Ram ball X-grip - £15 inc P&P
As above. Used about six times, but has now been replaced by a Ram ball phone case bought for me as a Birthday present. Size-wise it held my old iPhone SE and currently my 7plus securely, and would guess it would hold most smart phone sizes. It’s about 4 yrs old and did not come with the r...

Re: Can You Name Your Tyres ?.
I know what make my car and bike tyres are, ‘cos I spend ages reading reviews and cross checking before making my choices... OCD or what! For me the bike tyres are chosen for being the best for the job pretty much regardless of cost, but the car tyres just have to be OK as the car’s just a way to ge...

Mirror retention cables
Horning make a cable to harness the mirror to the bike if it comes away from its mount by collision or shock, such as a pothole.
According to the description it covers ‘05-‘13, are they necessary for the LC models as well?

Re: Weather Protection - Infill Panels
Perhaps because Puig are made in Barcelona, whereas Pyramid Products were (I believe) originated in Lincolnshire.
I’ve has Pyramid stuff before and the quality was pretty good, but I haven’t had the infills mentioned.

Re: Motorcycle Tour Operators or DIY
Been touring since the late 80's. initially in France generally camping but taking a cheap motel every few nights. In those days we headed south without any real plans, making considered route decisions the night before with the assistance of plenty of cheap wine, and stopping at about 4pm each day ...
